Late Lunch Visitation

Sofia and Leber toasted one another's good health.

Sara mocked everyone and made sure we documented that she was working.

Lena said she was too good for gnocchi. Then asked about my novel. Again.

History of the Ratty Challenge

It all started in 2011: 12+ Hours. 4 Lines. 2 Guys. 1 Dream. Max and Mike began the long and storied (a continuously running blog counts as storied, right?) tradition of the Brown Band Ratty takeover.

2012: 2 brave new souls enter the ring. Danny and Wilson came to the Ratty bearing fisticups and balls headbands, and lived to tell the tale.

2013: Women rule the Ratty. 3 women specifically. 3 smart, beautiful, badass women: Lena, Dara, and Kayla broke the glass ceiling of the Ratty Challenge (specifically, those weird giant glass discs that hang from the Ratty ceiling).

2014/2015: Zoe and Elaine couldn't figure out a date that worked in Fall 2014, so the Challenge moves to a brand new time slot: Spring 2015. What new, menu-associated obstacles could this bring? Follow here to find out!

2016: By this point the seniors had been part of 3 Ratty Challenges. It was so popular that pretty much all of us wanted to partake! Documenting the process are Abby, Amy, Ben, Brooke, Chris, and Sid, joined by Anaisa, Armani, Charlie, Jesus, Ken, and London.

2017: Kyle, Hayley, Isabella, Lainie, Daniel, Sarah, Gabe, Charlie, Caleb, and Peter took on the Ratty in the Band's 6th annual Ratty Challenge. This year the blog took on a Spongy theme, and we made a record breaking number of very entertaining posts.

2018: There was an attempt. Actually... no. There wasn't.

2019: Zack, Gaby, Tracy, Kellan, Sam FA, Natalie, Sean, Mark, Tim, Caroline, Charles, Christie, Isabela, and Shane revived a tradition that died for a year and brought it back in song. This feeling's like no other!
